I know Ashton O'Dwyer. And although I agree with his right to stay in his home and retain his weapons and to be treated with "benign neglect" (great phrasing), I disagree with Baldy's opinion. His delusional pro se post-Katrina lawsuits clog the docket of the Eastern District and you would be hard pressed to find anyone who has ever worked for or with the man that has any respect for him at all.
During another rant he declared his property a sovereign nation. I don't believe it is proper to cite your constitutional rights in one breath and discard the citizenship that grants you those rights in the next.
You won't take my guns or make me leave my own property against my will either. That doesn't make me brave, it just makes me a citizen exercising the rights granted to him by the constitution of the greatest country in the world. A country that I will neither disown nor blame for my own failures.
I can see how people can make certain assumptions from a short video clip. However, those assumptions are incorrect in this instance.
I don't know if I "know" ANONYMOUS or not, because he is a "gutless dog", who hides behind a pseudonym which make it impossible to identify him (or her). In any event, I don't give a "rat's ass" what ANONYMOUS thinks of me or not. I am still fighting "EVIL" here in New Orleans, and although I am "down" at the moment, I am by no means "out". My enemies are "dead man walking". They just don't know it, yet. AROD. 01/01/10.
I reserve the right to not publish ignorant ill-informed and filthy comments from vile cretins who have a four letter vocabulary. Further, anonymous comments with strong opinions and personal attacks may be rejected. If you want to voice a strong opinion, at least have the courage to sign your name to it. You don't even have to use your name, make something up so the next person can address your comment without confusion.
Mr. O'Dwyer is a brave man. He is a Real America.
