A Nurse with a Gun
My odometer registered a hundred thousand miles today as I turned into a patient's driveway. I tried to feel good about it, but it just did not hold the same thrill as the old mechanical wheel odometers did when they finally rolled over to read 00000 again. What do you drive?
We have 115k on our '97 sable... runs like a champ. I figure if the transmission holds out, it'll go another 85k...
If it were a pre-90's Volvo, I'd say you'd finally broken in the engine. The one we had when I was a kid ran and ran and ran... through many accidents, many failures, even extinguished it once... while the other car was in the shop! My uncle still drives it and I think it's about to hit 300k.
My 1995 Camry hit 218,000 yesterday.I plan on getting about 260K out of it.
