It appears that beleagered New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has postponed the mayoral election until September 30, 2006. Nagin was due to be replaced in February, 2006, and frankly, with his Democratic base scattered all over the country, one of the dead sharks at the Aquarium of the Americas stands a better chance of getting elected. Mr. Nagin is trying to lure his constituents back with free wireless internet service. Knucklehead.........How about luring them back with housing, sanitation, and a city above sea level? It's about time somebody said it. Rebuilding a city that will be out to sea in 75 years is the height of lunacy. But then, whoever said Louisiana politics was a sane endeavor?
