Light Blogging Ahead

Rest in peace John Smith.
Rest in peace Chuck Wilson.
Both men were Bastrop City Police officers, cut down in their prime yesterday. Both men died in a shootout with a murder suspect yesterday afternoon in Bastrop Louisiana. Two EMT's were wounded. One suspect was killed. Another is still at large.
Expect light blogging. Every time I say that, I start blogging like hell.

    For those who go in "Harm's Way"... yes, it was truly a sad and tragic day. May these brave men have eternal rest and may their families left behind find some measure of comfort in their time of loss from the noble sacrifice of their departed loved ones. We all sleep well at night because there does exist men so noble and brave.

I reserve the right to not publish ignorant ill-informed and filthy comments from vile cretins who have a four letter vocabulary. Further, anonymous comments with strong opinions and personal attacks may be rejected. If you want to voice a strong opinion, at least have the courage to sign your name to it. You don't even have to use your name, make something up so the next person can address your comment without confusion.
