I reserve the right to not publish ignorant ill-informed and filthy comments from vile cretins who have a four letter vocabulary. Further, anonymous comments with strong opinions and personal attacks may be rejected. If you want to voice a strong opinion, at least have the courage to sign your name to it. You don't even have to use your name, make something up so the next person can address your comment without confusion.

She was "deeply affected" when she cared for Ronald Reagan after he was shot by a nut? Really? Deeply affected?

Being stabbed in the abdomen by two drunk men and wishing you had some weapon with which to defend yourself, knowing that no one is coming because you haven't had the chance to call for help. corner? My wound may have only been 2 inches deep but let me assure you, THAT "affected me deeply"!
I was on the three day waiting list for a handgun the next day. Fortunately I now have a CCW and no longer have to wait. And should I ever encounter another man with a knife, I kinda like my chances.
Anti-gunners are all the same. But they cannot answer this question either honestly, or in their own favor: "If you were a student at Virginia Tech, trapped in a third story classroom watching the systematic execution of one student after another and you knew you were next.....If you could get your hands on a gun and return fire to protect your own life....would you?" Their answer to that question proves much. They are either willing to die for their beliefs or their beliefs are convenient only to the extent that it is not THEIR LIFE at stake.
