Last Sunday, I showed off the
Vietnamese M1911. It was a study in what a determined man can make out of schrapnel. This week, I present the Belgrade Beretta, a study in what a deranged Serb can make out of a piece of pipe, melted soda pop cans, tin foil, and goat dung paste.
Necessity is the mother of ugly imitation.
My G-d, that's hideous.
ReplyDeleteI'm running for cover when someone tries to shoot that!
ReplyDeleteNot just hideous, but it looks like you would be much safer throwing it!
ReplyDeleteOK Xav. This one leaves me speechless.
ReplyDeleteThis one made me cry (see page 4)

Yummy .... cast aluminum ...
ReplyDeleteUgly, but you have to admire the ingenuity of the maker.
ReplyDeletescary part is, i think you might not be kidding about the melted soda pop cans.
ReplyDeleteon the one hand, that's a pretty good casting job for an amateur. on the other hand, that's not something i want to have cast out of any metal i might melt and cast in my back yard.
What does it shoot? Soap bubbles?
ReplyDeleteagreed - intensely ugly, that one is.
ReplyDeleteHey, it's an Arcus! Bwhahahahaha!
