On Shotguns

My friend Peter wrote an excellent article recommending the Mossberg 500 shotgun for home defense. I agree wholeheartedly, although I advocate a good used shotgun rather than new.

In my area, which is not far from Peter, the Mossberg 500 can frequently be found in the $125 price range at pawn shops. With a bit of polishing up and trimming of the barrel, they become excellent home defense weapons.
