Tunneling Bandit

Tampa Bay, Florida- July 6, 2008. A man with a criminal history dug a tunnel underneath his neighbor's fence to gain access to his property. When Robert Cash's dog began barking, Cash stepped out of his home to investigate. There, he found Mark Mazur, and ordered him to stop. Mazur started towards the homeowner with a blow torch.

Cash fired one shot from his handgun. He did not hit Mazur, but the shot was enough to make Mazur re-think his plan. apparently between getting dog bit, shot, or apprehended by authorities, Mazur chose the later.
