Purina Dog Food

"As soon as our food leaves our factory, it is no longer our responsibility."
Yep, it looks like that's what they said.

  3. my dogs eat nurto and it's a bang up food. Changed to it after billjak gave my sensative dog stomach problems and flakes (an apparent change in formula). Damn purina is off the list of things to buy for good. That is not right.

    Purina makes crap food, anyway.

Needs to be added to the list that also contains Beneful, Eukanuba, Iams, Science Diet, and all the other shite loaded with everything but what a dog needs from a healthy diet.

  5. Above is so true. It is amazing and sad how well food like this is marketed as "healthy" or "nutritionally complete" or "vet recommended/approved", when the primary ingredients are stuff a dog should not even have in it's diet. I long ago switched to Timberwolf, Innova, etc. The cost difference is surprisingly negligible (though I have a small dog), but the increase in peace of mind is tremendous. My dog has no choice (or mostly no choice) what he eats on a day to day basis -- it is my responsibility to ensure that he is getting what he needs.
