Ugly Gun Sunday

I usually give Clark guns a pass in the ugly arena. I figure if the thing runs like a Clark gun, then it can't be ugly no matter what it looks like. This gun though, I couldn't let pass.

  1. Looks like somebody took a Springfield GI and did just a couple things to it. Nothing fatally permanent. It looks to me, for instance, like the squared trigger guard might be held in place with set screws.

If it was me, I'd prefer just the straight up SA GI.

I can't see the gun for that ugly aluminum transistor radio thingy on top. Gotta go....

So, which half kills people? The phased plasma laser in the 40-watt range, or the pistol?

Now if that was a simple red-dot scope, it would probably be a wonderful Bulls-eye gun. That would at least justify its existence

But with a laser and the squared trigger guard (for wrapping one's finger around) - nope. Gotta agree with you Xavier.

At least the trigger guard could be taken off with no harm done. The holes for the scope mount - nope, probably can't fill those.

Best send it to me and I'll try to give it home as a respectable bullseye gun.

  5. How in the heck is it going to cycle. The aluminum mount will cover the ejector port when fired.

Jeff, it looks like that bracket is mounted to the frame rather than the slide, so the ejection port will be to the rear of the bracket at the ejection point of the cycle.
