Actually, that's kind of tasty. I like the wood and the color case hardened trigger and hammer. The cylinder simply personalizes it a bit. Now if it were done in candy apple red that would be ugly.

Hey, Ilike flames on cars and bikes, but they're kinda cool on a revolver too. They don't interfere with function and you could buff them out and reblue if you got tired of them. Thad
That gun must have an excessive gap between the cylinder and the forcing cone, it would appear that there is excessive gas cutting erosion on the cylinder. Funny, it even looks like flames... (/sarc)
I'm not sure what it says about me that the first thing I noticed was that it has that darn ugly new contour to the rear of the frame around the hammer and then... Huh? Ick! Dear gawd what have they done to the cylinder!

Sorry Xav... that's COOL!
ReplyDeleteNo love for the J-flame? I almost bought one, but it was $200 more than a non-flamed one, and twice as much as the one I bought.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Those flames should be in red. Or orange.

ReplyDeleteWell, it will be spending most of it's time with the cylinder hidden by leather, nylon or kydex.
ReplyDeleteThat's one tacky lookin' gun.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's that bad, maybe even a little cool. Or is it hot? If I got a good deal on it, I wouldn't mind carrying it.
ReplyDeleteThat's not bad.... More funny than bad... I guess that would be a nice BBQ gun.

ReplyDeleteIt's tacky in a Smokey & The Bandit Trans Am sort of way.
ReplyDeleteI probably wouldn't pass up a really good deal on either.

ReplyDeleteThe flames make the bullets go faster.

ReplyDeleteIsn't this technically a Model 60? Just wonderin'...

I dig it. Although if I was doing the finish myself I'd go for a more subtle treatment -- etched flames on polished SS cylinder.
ReplyDeleteJust a shadow for the especially observant.
So what da matter!?! Pimps need good guns too.
ReplyDeleteI almost feel the need to apologize, but I must most respectfully disagree.
ReplyDeleteI think that thing is awesome!

Question: Why does it have flames?
ReplyDeleteAnswer (In Christopher Walkin voice): because it's FAST!
