    Actually, that's kind of tasty. I like the wood and the color case hardened trigger and hammer. The cylinder simply personalizes it a bit. Now if it were done in candy apple red that would be ugly.

    Hey, Ilike flames on cars and bikes, but they're kinda cool on a revolver too. They don't interfere with function and you could buff them out and reblue if you got tired of them.

    That gun must have an excessive gap between the cylinder and the forcing cone, it would appear that there is excessive gas cutting erosion on the cylinder. Funny, it even looks like flames... (/sarc)

    I'm not sure what it says about me that the first thing I noticed was that it has that darn ugly new contour to the rear of the frame around the hammer and then... Huh? Ick! Dear gawd what have they done to the cylinder!

    I dig it. Although if I was doing the finish myself I'd go for a more subtle treatment -- etched flames on polished SS cylinder.
