Xav, I'm sorry but this is the first time I've felt compelled to comment on a Sunday Gun. What the Hell are they trying to do??? They ruined an expensive and beautiful weapon. I'm just really sorry for whoever did that! I just hope I can get that picture out of my mind!
I have 3 doozies (sp?) - one is a power hacksaw blade mounted in a hunk of shovel handle, one is the tip of a bayonet with paper, string, and tape wrapping for a grip, and one is a commercial blade with a string wrapped handle.
I kind of like them - Kind of like naive or rustic art. You can sneer at the crude result, but their utility is undeniable.
It was ugly to start with. Functional but ugly. Though since form follows function I could still see the beauty in the piece -- until it got that nasty paint job.
I reserve the right to not publish ignorant ill-informed and filthy comments from vile cretins who have a four letter vocabulary. Further, anonymous comments with strong opinions and personal attacks may be rejected. If you want to voice a strong opinion, at least have the courage to sign your name to it. You don't even have to use your name, make something up so the next person can address your comment without confusion.

ReplyDeleteI thought the gun was quite ugly bone stock from the factory!
Of course, if you can get the hits, does it really matter what color it is?

ReplyDeleteBut f*cking up a perfectly good weapon is nearly a sin.

ReplyDeleteI hate the color pink. That being said. Pink on what was a really nice gun? EWWWWWWW.
