Taser Wielding Robber Killed

Memphis Tennessee. A criminal decides to use a taser to rob a convenience store. Unfortunately for him, the clerk has a gun and the willingness to use it.

At this time, on the Memphis FOX poll, 85% of respondents believe armed employees are the best deterrent to crime.

8 comments:

  1. "No charges have been filed yet."
    The woman actually sounded disappointed.

Regardless, I say kudos to the store owner.

    1. One gomer down, how many millions to go.

    2. The cousin there has it right regarding deterrence.

    3. The woman reading the news there is awfully easy to look at.

  4. Up to 96% now.

A friend once worked at the only liquor store in its area that had never been robbed. The owner required all employees to open-carry in the store. He told me about a carful of Young Urban Males who changed their plans after seeing the .357 on his hip.

    WV: "exile"

    Heh.

  5. Apparently Memphis had the regional IDPA championships this weekend too...

That's would've been grand too - talk about massive FAIL! in the victim selection process.

Whats that old saying, never bring a taser to a gun fight! And to second Scopes comment, damn what a cutie that news caster is. Played it over several times just to check her out. ;) lol

agree with your assessment and comment #3.

The best defense is a good offense I suppose.

    Clerk: Bang!

Robber: ".....ow!... How much for band aids?"
