Imagine
This ad refers to a 2003 incident when a Wilmette, Illinois restaurateur named Hale DeMar shot and wounded a burglar who broke into his house. DeMar was prosecuted by the town of Wilmette, which had, at the time, a ban on the possession of handguns. To prevent a reoccurance, Illinois lawmakers introduced legislation to offer legal protections to individuals who use firearms in self defense. The bill passed the Illinois state House by a vote of 86-25, and the Illinois state Senate by a vote of 39-20. Illinois state Senator Barack Obama voted against the bill.

I reserve the right to not publish ignorant ill-informed and filthy comments from vile cretins who have a four letter vocabulary. Further, anonymous comments with strong opinions and personal attacks may be rejected. If you want to voice a strong opinion, at least have the courage to sign your name to it. You don't even have to use your name, make something up so the next person can address your comment without confusion.
So disturbing.
ReplyDeleteNot at all surprising.
That anyone would look at the Obama record and try to say he isn't anti-gun is bald-faced lying.
ReplyDeleteThat Obama would EVER make one syllable that claimed he was anything but anti-gun is outright lying.
That someone claiming to "fact check" the NRA pointing out Obama's record would lie about same is par for the course this election.
Remember who is lying to you today.
Never forget their names. Never forgive them.
Total Control of Washington...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the Neo-cons and Republicans have turned the stomachs of everyday Americans.
Barack Obama never voted that way and you know it. He should have voted that way if he didn't though. If more people were prosecuted for killing people in their homes then there would be less robberies and rapes and such. the problems would take care of themselves.
