A Nurse with a Gun

Tuesday, March 07, 2006

You might be a Texas Peace Officer:

If your hat, belt and boots cost more than your sidearm.

If you know what a 'court gun' is.

You've ever had to mediate a dispute concerning the paternity of a litter of puppies.

If directions to a location involve livestock, property descriptions, or the words "When you get off the pavement."

One of my favorite members of several forums has finally begun blogging. The long awaited LawDog Files is finally collected on the net. Now if we could just get LawDog to write a book!

Give LawDog a read. He is to Texas what Flannery O'Connor is to Georgia. Just make sure not to eat or drink while reading.

This is a great blog, Xavierbreath!

I remember you from the old Handguns Review Forum. Thought you made some really valuable contributions there and on Handgun. Lots of your threads on working with guns you purchased are still around.

Question: Years ago you wrote or found somewhere a list of all the handgun calibers with comments on their capability for "killerin."

Talked about the Germans and the 9mm Kurz and the Isrealis and the Desert Eagle .50. It was hilarious! You still have access to that?
