Our Anthem

O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?

Assimilate
as·sim·i·late v 1: take up mentally; "he absorbed the knowledge or beliefs of his tribe" [syn: absorb, ingest, take in] 2: become similar to one's environment; "Immigrants often want to assimilate quickly" [ant: dissimilate] 3: make similar; "This country assimilates immigrants very quickly" [ant: dissimilate]

Respect our values. Obey our laws. Accept our traditions. Welcome to our country. Refuse and expect to be as welcome as dogshit on a bride's slipper.

O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

I don't think they will be able to for much longer. The legal residents of this country (native and immigrant alike) are starting to get tired of this recent crap.

Better get over it and start practicing saluting the Mexican flag, senors! :-)
