Robbery Prevented in New Orleans
The couple resisted the strong arm robbery, and the man drew his own gun, and ventilated the criminal three times. The criminal died as a result. The would be victim holds a valid Louisiana concealed carry license, and the shooting has been ruled justifiable.
Chaulk one up for the good guys.

That's what I'm talkin' about.
This'll sound a little strange but, PRAISE THE LORD!
Hooray for the good guys!!
Finally, good news with a gun in it.
You beat me to it...
I really think this is the only way that New Orleans will come back as a positive city - for the law abiding citizens to decide for themselves that they're not going to be victims and fight back.
Of course, most of the elected officials here don't want that. Once the people of New Orleans discover that they can do something when they band together, the politicians are the next to go!
Do society a favor, defend yourself! That rocks.
Excellent. I hope that's an action I never have to take, but if I do, hopefully the result will be the same.
It boggles the imagination that a firearm could have remained in the hands of the now-deceased criminal after Nagin's Brown Shirts went through New Orleans taking guns supposedly to prevent crime.
I love it when the good guys win.
Someone want to press Gun-Grabbin' Ray as to why the late perpetrator had his gun after they disarmed all the law-abiding they could get their hands on?
Personally I wish the press down there would insist he answer that question before they would print one press release, cover one news conference or otherwise grant him space in their media.
Nice that the ventilated scumbag didn't hang around to clog up the cour/penal system, and even nicer that the ventilation was found to be justifiable.
Sounds like a forumula for our overcrowded prison system.
More ventillation (for perps) less regulation (for law-abiding armed citizens).
Fewer repeat offenders, less crowding for those inside.
I always love hearing happy news!
