Xavier is a Registered Nurse who specialized in complex wound care. He has practiced for over fourteen years in his community. He often provided nursing service in areas where law enforcement refused to enter without back-up. Xavier now works in surgery. Xavier has been an avid shooter for over 30 years. He strongly supports the 2nd Amendment, opposes gun control of any sort, and carries a weapon 24 hours a day. Xavier is known on various internet gun forums as XavierBreath. He is married with three children, and is moderated by an apathetic one eyed cat, a goofy Golden Retriever, and a stalwart German Shepherd Dog. One day, he hopes to be deserving of them all.

Get Julie Goloski to go show these young women some more fun things to do with a handgun!

so cool!
Very nice video! I like the way they put that young girls piano playing in with her target shooting. Nice touch.
when will this video come out? Is it available to buy? Could a person show it at gun shows to attract people to this sport?
Steve
I'm reminded of an old gunsmith I met in Argentina.
When his kids were young, he taught them to be careful with firearms by taking them shooting. The gun quickly lost its mysticism when they saw how it worked and, more importantly, just how loud it was. As they grew older, he took them shooting, if they wanted to.
When his daughter hit 14, she finally asked to go shooting. She had shown no interest until then, so he couldn't have been happier.
After explaining the basics to her, he gave her the weapon (a .22 pistol) and she started shooting.
First shot - 10 ring
Second - 10
Third - 9
Fourth - 10
And so it went... until she emptied the magazine.
Her dad, a competitive man, but not a particularly good shot (but a whiz with fixing firearms), jokingly snatched the empty pistol from her, muttering "give me that... now, let's see you do that with this." He handed her an old Argentine 1911.
With similar results.
Seeing him recount the story, you could just feel the mix of envy and pride. She never really got into shooting, though - not her thing. He wasn't sure if he should feel bad about that, or good - at least this way, she wouldn't show him up in front of all his friends.
I never learned to shoot as a kid, and I'm a lousy shot now, but I really look forward to teaching my kids.
Great vid.
Nice! Especially the gal from NJ, one of our most viciously anti RKBA states, where the local police chief can deny your 'application for permit to purchase' on a whim, and where you've got to have that for even a bb gun.
Keep at it ladies...
