A Nurse with a Gun
Xavier is a Registered Nurse who specialized in complex wound care. He has practiced for over fourteen years in his community. He often provided nursing service in areas where law enforcement refused to enter without back-up. Xavier now works in surgery. Xavier has been an avid shooter for over 30 years. He strongly supports the 2nd Amendment, opposes gun control of any sort, and carries a weapon 24 hours a day. Xavier is known on various internet gun forums as XavierBreath. He is married with three children, and is moderated by an apathetic one eyed cat, a goofy Golden Retriever, and a stalwart German Shepherd Dog. One day, he hopes to be deserving of them all.

I hate to break this to you, but there was a study recently that found that, mile for mile, a fairly fuel efficient car has less impact on the environment that a bicyclist does. Humans are not fuel efficient, and all of that pedaling has to be refueled with food that is harvested and delivered by machines.
I might add that I live less than two miles from my office, and actually bike to work when the weather is accommodating. But parking is non-existent unless I enjoy coming in a couple of hours early. Plus, it's frequently the only exercise I get during the week. So I love my bike, but I know it's not significantly better for the environment than just driving my car would be.
Cute video. I really did find that it was great to be able to bike to work when I worked seven miles away. Now that I'm almost 30 miles from home, I just can't. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, though. I was in a much better mood in the morning when I started the day with a bike ride.
heavens to betsy...
a biker riding offroad, whilst a guy commuting drives an suv on the streets....they didnt even take the SAME ROUTE
lets see how that biker does against a person riding a dual purpose motorcycle that gets over 50 MPG does offroad.
X,
Great vid. Do you know what kind of bike that cat is rid'n?

An amusing video. As one who spends a lot of time behind the wheel in the NYC metropolitan area it has inspired me to get out on my bike more.
