I have been claimed by a cat. He came wandering up as I was photographing the rose bushes, appearing from nowhere to rub against my legs. Maybe he was thanking me for putting out a bit of extra food last night......I don't know. He did not enjoy having his picture taken. "No paparazzi!" he hissed as he sauntered off, vague and aloof. He is quiet and small
He is black
From the ears to the tip of his tail
He can creep through the tiniest crack
He can walk on the narrowest rail

edited to add: John Partridge is the performer in the video above in the role of Rum Tum Tugger in the Broadway musical Cats. In addition to Mr. Mistoffelees, we have our own Tugger visiting the front porch. Surprisingly, they seem to get along.
The character of the Tugger was based loosely on the stage antics of Mick jagger and Elvis Presley. Here's another video of Rum Tum Tugger. If you liked the first, you will really enjoy this one.

Is that Tim Curry signing that song? Just watched "Rocky Horror Picture Show" and this actor has lots of the same moves that Curry had.

John Partridge anon.....The part is that of Rum Tum Tugger, many of the moves were based on the young Mick Jagger.
I do think he's face is pure Frankenfurter.
Mistoffelees is a handsome kitty. Especially with those stunning white whiskers.
Same thing kinda happened to us and a cat that we have right now. One day, after we gave it some food, it adopted us. Kinda scared of us in the beginning, but was satisfied with the thought we could supply it with food.
