I see Mauser Medic is back to doing Ugly Gun Sundays. I had kind of picked up the torch for him while he was otherwise engaged. Now I'm wondering if I should let my participation dwindle off so as not to steal his thunder, or if all us gun bloggers should participate in the weekly meme......Whatcha think guys?Labels: Ugly Guns

The more the merrier! You do come up with some of the most oddball creations. With a lot of them, I'm not sure what my reaction should be. Kind of a "kewl", as I hurl, sort of response. Keep up the good work.

Well, I for one read every ugly gun post you put up.
If you enjoy them, write 'em up!
If not.... theres always other chores needing done.
I'm a fan. But I'm not disciplined enough to have a weekly edition. Plus, I find a lot of "ugly guns" to be kinda neat, so I'd only ever post hideous chrome pimp guns, or ridiculously tacticool'd ARs.
A little ugly goes a long way, mon ami.
No use turning this site into a ballistic freak show or shrine of the living dead.

There is no such thing as an ugly gun....some are just better look'n then others! Know what'a mean, Vern.
You could just link to him, every time an ugly gun sunday comes up. That way, those of us who don't visit his blog regularly can still see it.
IT IS ALWAYS NICE TO SEE HOW PEOPLE RUIN BEAUTIFUL GUNS. IT REMINDS US THAT SOME PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT HOW TO KEEP A FIREARM TASTEFULL. I GUESS BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER BUT MOST OF US KNOW THAT DOESN’T ALWAYS APPLY. I THINK THE MORE THE MERRIER AND IF YOU HAVE THE TIME AND INCLINATION TO PROCEED WITH IT YOU SHOULD KEEP IT UP. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO.
I think I'd try to switch it up some. Maybe Abomination Wednesdays? Dunno. But I don't think I'd just carry on with a straight up copy of anothers idea.

I think you should keep it up. Posting articles and pictures of the exterior ugliness of certain guns goes well with your articles that explain the not so visible abominations of a gun's internals that make it ugly in concept and design.
Is that Dykem? What is this thing besides simply being a Jennings (or Lorcin)?

I don't see any problems. Lord knows there's more than enough to go around.
