This place was local to me when I was living with my parents. It's a shame they are shutting the doors.

Later,

I've placed a few orders with Makarov.com over the years; Karl was a good guy to deal with. I guess nothing good lasts forever.

Whoa, anyone else hoping for a great deal on that Friday? Do they have actual Makarovs or just the accessories? I would be sorely tempted to get one or two from them at 40% off!

Other than that I would just pick up a bunch of magazines. Shame to see them go but will have to investigate the deals.

On account of them, I developed a passion for a Makarov and only 2 days ago my first, a Bulgarian beauty, came home with me. I was looking foreward to relying on them for back up support with parts and reference etc.
Any chance that someone may pick up the ball and run with it like in the case with SurplusRifle.com?

They dropped their FFL a while ago, so likely no Maks unless they sell personal arms. Magazines are unlikely too, unless they find some in a dark corner. Those are getting hard to find. Lucky me, I bought a bunch when they were cheap.

I placed a part order Thursday, before they shut down the shopping cart. Now maybe I'll get around to installing my .380 barrel.

Noooooo!!! They can't shut down yet, I still need some stuff for my CZ-52! {sigh} I guess I'll just get in line when they reopen, and hope for the best.

I deeply regret selling my Mak. Sad day seeing that website shut down.
