Ugly Gun Sunday

Here we have the infamous green Kimber modified for Leprechaun concealed pimp carry. The poor bugger has melted down his gold to make some hideously vulgar grips for it.

Its owner, no doubt, considers it beautiful. Then again, there were/are a number of people who consider Andy Warhol an artist. Go figure.

Personally, I've always abhorred scrollwork or gold inlay on a gun. I find it hideous and effeminate, much like men who wear earrings (yes, I'm an old fogey concerning that fashion trend). Tarting up a gun with that nonsense only impresses those who know little about guns and who are not shooters. Real shooters laugh up their sleeves at these meretricious monstrosities and, especially, those who own them.

As long as it shoots good is all that counts.

It'd make a decent sidearm for Notre Dame's mascot, though.

I never did like Notre Dame.

But, will it pass this test?

Question 1: Will possession of the firearm in question, by a mere civilian, make Ted Kennedy sad?

Yep. It passed with flying colors (literally).

The beauty of this piece is that all it really needs is a nice dip in a vat of paint stripper and a set of wood grips to fix.

Haha, within the same light of harp1034, "She told him no to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within." ~ The Prologue from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast".

Still, I might be able to bear looking at it if I was color blind.
