Ugly Gun Sunday

Take a Glenfield Model 60 from a yard sale table, Click to enlargeadd a bit of imagination and a folding stock ........
"The sight is an old Aim-Point, the Real Deal, from back in the day although the mount is bastardized to make it work. I made the pistol grip from a piece of exhaust pipe and some flat steel plate. The "stock" is a bolt with the head cut off, some rod and a few nuts. I brazed it all together with an oxy/acetylene torch. The Mag-Light mounts I machined from aluminum."
Believe it or not, the builder actually took this contraption out in public to shoot it.

Very cool stuff!

Ugly as sin, but making what many states consider a "hi-cap assault weapon" look really scary does earn points in my book.

So when the gun grabbers get their way with this administration, are they going to confiscate all the auto exhausts, bolt and the torches to weld them together?

How does anyone think there is any way to eliminate guns from someone who really wants one?

In Iraq, decent reproductions of S&W Revolvers are made by young boys with a hand file and lots of time. Imagine what could be produced in the well equipped home workshop with power tools and some knowledge.

"They" cannot disarm us. Only we can give up and let them take our rights away.

It looks like something Red Green made in his garage. All it needs is duct tape.

Shouldn't the picture of the guy's face be blurred or pixelated to hide his identity and save him embarrassment? LOL

I made that gun and that is me shooting it. The gun was $5.oo and had no stock so it's not like I trashed a niec gun. Not only that, but the original parts are all 100% stock. No modifications. It could easily be bolted back in a factory stock.

Like or hate it, it is what it is, a functional conversation starter!
