Hound Dog Taylor
The Master of the Stratocaster. A buddy on bass, and a buddy on drums. Three geriatric bluesmen. When the critics said he couldn't play shit, Hound Dog said "Yeah, but I shore make it sound good!"
Encore:
From the 1973 Ann Arbor Blues Festival.
Labels: Musical Interludes

I don't know anything about Hound Dog Taylor other than he had six fingers on each hand but he isn't playing a Sratocaster in those videos. Although the headstock looks vaguely Fenderish it's probably a cheap Tiesco or Beltone
Xav,
you are just the kind of person who needs to know that Theodore Roosevelt 'Hound Dog' Taylor was born with 6 fingers on each hand.
god, that felt good. thanks hound dog and x!
Hound Dog was known to use a cheap Teisco guitar and a Sears & Roebuck amplifier to get his sound. I believe that is what he is using here.
