Ugly Gun Sunday

What could be uglier than a cheap plastic and zinc pistol? How about a cheap plastic and zinc pistol that was soaked in the waters of huricane Katrina and then confiscated by the New Orleans Police and their comrades?

Yeah, that's ugly.

Anonymous said...: Gordon's most recent posts as of yesterday expounded on the need for more stringent training requirements in order to obtain a CCW/CHL and the 'mistake' Louisiana legislature made in granting veterans an exmeption from that training for their initial cert.
Yesterday, I made some fairly lengthy comments on these posts concerning the nature of the 2A as a recognition of a right and not a priviledge as well as my forced experience with fairly poor quality CHL instructors.
Today those posts no longer exist and the comments from Tam, Oleg, and myself are gone along with them.
I wonder why. Exercising his 1A right to remove his foot from his mouth I guess. Probably not blogroll material, X.

Anonymous said...: I'll never say it's the prettiest gun I own, but my C9 is affordable, reliable, and (here's how this relates to the picture in the post) has a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty. I could buy the C9 in that picture, send it and the rusted magazines in to the factory, and I would be sent a new gun and magazines free of charge.

But yeah, it's ugly and sad to see something in that state of disrepair.; 12:14 PM
