Ugly Gun Sunday

All I can say is at least it's not a Colt. Somebody needs to splash some paint stripper on this poor pistol and give it some 45 caliber love.

Hey Xman, I have a question regarding FailZero's permanent dry-lube coating system: http://www.failzero.com/armory/ar-15.html

A friend of mine says the finish tends to varnish. So I shot off an email to Tam 2 nights ago, but she hasn't replied. What do you think of this dry-lube coating system?

They sell AR-15 bolt carriers and 1911 kits.

Tell me what you think. Thanks.

OrangeNeck,
It looks good but I've never used it. I'm rather leery of any "permanent" lubricant.

On the other hand, if you were going as an Army Man it would be a pretty nice accessory.

man, that is ugly...

on the other hand, the comedic snark embodied in the takeoff on greenpeace idiocy makes it worth sacrificing that poor (but not defenseless!) pistol.

We live in the age of the Krylon Bubba.

I supposed someone considers this "art".

That just makes me sad.

But you're right - at least it's not a Colt.

Still, though. Somebody give this poor gun a proper home and some TLC.

I'm going to hope someone used an airsoft for this sight gag.

Sarah, it's not TLC, it's CLP, that's needed by that pistol. And some heavy-duty paint stripper.
