Ugly Gun Sunday
Here is X?4725, an experimental heavy barrel Colt Woodsman from the Colt Factory Archives Collection. I bet that barrel will control the powerful 22 muzzle flip.

3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot
4. Be sure of your target and what lies beyond it
The Five Rules of Concealed Carry

might be ugly..but i'll lay you odds it's a VERY quick second shot to point of aim
Target weight maybe?

Maybe a muzzle brake would help? Hah!
Has no one here ever seen the A Woodsman Model 3 Match Target?? I would suggest this is a possible prototype for that pistol. It only needs to a bit rounder, have a fluting like a revolver cylnder and Colt Royal Blue finish and your have the Model 3 Match. A VERY accurate, and EXPENSIVE pistol by the way. Even when first made.
Just Google "Woodsman Match Target" to find out just how spectacular that chunk of steel ended up looking.
