Amanda has a Gun

This is the kind of ignorance we, as gun owners, are up against. This is why we must seek to educate the fence sitters and repudiate the anti-gunners.

What troubles me most is that one of the people involved in the making of this video owns a handgun. Who ever owns that Beretta is so uncaring that they allow the pistol to be used in a video in a manner that is not only extremely unsafe, but also one that depicts gun owners as caricature crazy people.

Looks to me like they used an airsoft pistol.

Man, that was too painful to watch.

Punted about 2 minutes in.

Sorry...

I guess you can spin it by saying, "What not to do with firearms!" or "Why you learn how to properly handle and treat firearms!" Too bad, they are not proving their intentional point, in my eyes.

I made it through almost three minutes before giving up. Massive waste comes to mind... Stupidity should be painful is the other thought...

Sorry, with that intro I couldn't bring myself to click on the "play" button as I already know there are a lot of morons in the world...I just ate too and I don't feel like re-eating my gumbo out of a trash can or making more tonight.

The static picture of a person putting a REAL EFFIN GUN to a REAL HUMAN'S HEAD is enough to make me puke, nearly.

Regards from the other side of the Sabine,
Tom

Well, I didn't get to see it, but at least no one else will, either. It's been pulled because of a "terms of use" violation.

Google the title:

Amanda has a gun!-Abridged

Until they remove that as well. Twice the pain, half the length!

If both the "victim" and the person holding the pistol committed seppuku it would be a public service.

Try this. It is a "documentary" made by Finnish anti-gun group. A Finnish pro-gun group already filed a complaint to the police because this film violates several childcare laws. For example you can see that the children firing guns don't have any kind of ear protection. (Think of the children!)

Also its a sick propaganda film that portrays gun owners as bloodthirsty criminals.

I spoke with the director/writer of this video. It turns out he is a firearms owner and enthusiast. I encouraged him to post here to respond to you all.

BTW - it IS an airsoft.

First of all, I have a feeling that this comment will not make it to your comment wall because you strike me as someone who enjoys silencing anyone who does not agree with your opinions.

I happen to find this video funny, but what is even funnier to me is that you think this video is some sort of propaganda piece aimed against gun owners. I personally know both actresses in this short as well as the director, and I can assure you there was no anti-gun agenda behind this.

You should also get your facts straight before you go smearing someone's creative work, because that "beretta" happens to be an airsoft gun.

If you're such a staunch supporter of your freedom to own a gun, a freedom I completely agree with, then why are you trying to stifle people's creative freedom?

Airsoft gun or not, it depicts gun owners poorly. That's not a smear, it's just the way it is.

Responsible gun owners don't act as the two young ladies in this video did, whether the act is scripted, and whether the gun is an airsoft gun or not.

If you think it is funny, then apparently you fail to understand the problem, or you are letting your familiarity with the actors and director cloud your judgement Mr. Anonymous.

I am not trying to stifle anyone's creative freedom. I am pointing out that this video and others like it do not help us as gun owners. Who the hell are you to say that I strike you as someone who who enjoys silencing anyone who does not agree with my opinions? You strike me as a whiney teenager with a lot to learn. Does that mean I'm correct? Start off with insults sir, and expect to receive them in return.

Please chose a name other than anonymous to post comments, so they can be responded to without confusion.

I thought it was a funny video. Why exactly are we infringing on someone's right to free speech by forcing youtube to take the video off?

Maybe, instead of focusing on critiquing film and television writing, people should focus more on critiquing the disgustingly inappropriate gun control (or lack thereof) in this country that allows smuggling into Mexico to arm drug cartels or puts high power firearms into the hands of students who turn them to other kids.

I think maybe our efforts, thoughts, and energy should be redirected in that direction.

Hey that video was really funny. It's satire. Or am I wrong?

It's not cool to try to get someone censored just because you don't agree with how they portray a group of people. It seems likely that the gun device is used only for comic effect.

If someone disagrees with the video that is their right, but is also their right to post the video and have people enjoy (or not enjoy) it.

Dear Xavier,

It's actually Ms. Anonymous, and I happen to be a college educated adult. I said you strike me as someone who enjoys silencing anyone who does not agree with your opinion, because that is exactly what you did when you had this video pulled from Youtube.

Maybe I am not the only person with "a lot to learn." As you go through life, Xavier, you will begin to realize that not everyone will support your views. Just because YOU feel that a video portrays YOUR passion in a bad light, does not give you the right or justification to eliminate it.

Almost every comedy ever made can be considered offensive to at least one person, so imagine if every person who felt that way did what you did and had the work pulled from the public eye. I'm so glad that not everyone is as "whiny" as you.

Maybe you should consider giving the first amendment as much respect as you give the second amendment.

1. Nobody here contacted YouTube to ask that the video be taken down. I, in fact, wanted it up so I could use it as an example.

2. YouTube is private property. You do not have any rights there if you violate their terms of service. You can not claim censorship if they remove your video. Don't like it? Start your own video hosting website. Others have.
