You could carry concealed and open, at the same time, on safari with that thing.

Jon Spencer, I was thinking the same thing. This looks exactly like some piece of crap that Ted Nugent would carry around.

I have always loved Ted's music but never thought much of him otherwise.

Oh, come on...you can't just throw something THAT ugly up without a little warning! Almost lost my breakfast.

Don't know who the dim bulb was who thought that would be a good idea, but he ought to lose his Home Depot card. Someone that dumb can't be trusted around paint.

Looks like camo for a pastry shop. Is it just me or does it look like a chocolate gun with white icing drizzled on it?

No doubt that is the most UNUSUAL looking Colt Marshal ( I think ) I have ever seen.

I would be interested in hearing the story behind the paint job. Was it for a security guard at a safari park in San Antonio? Someone just wanted something to go with his faux-Zebra vest?

Fortunately, paint can be removed.

Look at the finish on that wood. What sort of K-Mart goop is that? A finish is not supposed to have bubbles. Sandpaper comes in grit fineness higher than 200!

The gun needs to be melted down--there's no hope. However, the grips are definitely salvageable, though the butt needs to be reshaped. I've fixed a couple sets of grips with a good 400-600-800-1500 grit sand job, a nice lacquer sealer to bring out the grain, and a nice hard finishing coat to seal it up.

Ugly, yes. But in a group of similar guns, a predator would have a difficult time singling out just one.
