Xav,
I'm sorry but this is the first time I've felt compelled to comment on a Sunday Gun.
What the Hell are they trying to do???
They ruined an expensive and beautiful weapon.
I'm just really sorry for whoever did that!
I just hope I can get that picture out of my mind!

Yup, that's ugly all right.
But is it ugly enough to make up for last week's missed "ugly gun Sunday" posting?
Pretty close.

WHAT DID THEY DO TO SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AND FUNCTIONAL GUN!?!?!? BASTARDS!!!

That really is a shame...do that kind of stuff to a HiPoint, not an H&K

Do you have any interest in ugly knives?

I have 3 doozies (sp?) - one is a power hacksaw blade mounted in a hunk of shovel handle, one is the tip of a bayonet with paper, string, and tape wrapping for a grip, and one is a commercial blade with a string wrapped handle.

I kind of like them - Kind of like naive or rustic art. You can sneer at the crude result, but their utility is undeniable.

OH Man!!!!
They wouldn't have to shoot, I'd laugh myself to death when they pulled it out.

I think I just threw up a little bit.

Nothing a bucket of MEK and a good soak won't fix though.

I'm starting to think you might have the most unique gun collection in the Universe.

X:

I thought the gun was quite ugly bone stock from the factory!

Of course, if you can get the hits, does it really matter what color it is?

Anonymous: We won't sneer at people make useful stuff out of broken things.

But f*cking up a perfectly good weapon is nearly a sin.

It was ugly to start with. Functional but ugly. Though since form follows function I could still see the beauty in the piece -- until it got that nasty paint job.
