It was an elegant weapon. Not as clumsy or random as a blaster, like you see here.

I know the man that built this tacticool Mosin Nagant. It's what happens when a bored gunsmith just starts assembling odd parts lying around the shop. I've never fired it, but I've seen video. Gives new meaning to shock and awe.

That CANNOT be a real $500 Aimpoint sight on top of that $49.00 Mosin...it just can't.

And a lock on a quick-draw back-up gun?

Who are these people, and who is letting them outside unsupervised, much less anywhere near a gun shop?

Whoever bubbaized that Moisin Nagant should be slaped upside the head so hard his mamma would feel it. That was pure ugly.

Good Lord, I think that lower picture used to be a Mosin-Nagant rifle...

Hmmm. Older .38 S&W Snub, with what I can only hope is an engineering prototype bolted on. "Zero-th" generation laser sight?

The "tac Mosin" I've seen pictures of before.

Umm.. Re: the Nagant M91-30 cut-down.

It is ugly. It is actually ridiculous. I can only hazard a guess about how unpleasant such a thing would be to fire-lightweight plastic and firing a 7.62 x 54R . Ouch,- Ill bet follow up shots are slow.

It also appears to me, if it is real, to be an AOW - Short-barrelled rifle. I dont think it makes 16". I could be wrong.

As for the J-Frame Smith- it looks like it has a keyboard. Is this some kind of early experiment? Again, just like the Nagant, this seems to fail the "utility" test.

You do find the oddest pics.

You can't appreciate that Tacticool Mosin until you put it up to your shoulder. Like Stoney Pete said, it's a beauty, and has a lot of local fame around here in the land of the 10 round magazine and the #20 trigger pull.

As for the person who asked if that is a real $500 site on that $49 Mosin.... YUP!!! It is.

Mad Marc0, you build a great gun!!!!!

Xavier, we'll let you shoot that if you ever get up this way to New England.

Video here.

For those who are curious, I also know the guy who built the "Tacticool Mosin", It started life as a Remington M1891, He got it as a dealer trade after it had the stock cut by some bubba, and the bore was rusted out. It was little more than a crappy wall-hanger, so he decided to pay the $200 tax stamp and use it to make fun of the AR-15 Rail-kiddies.

At the shoot where the video was taken somebody had a Semi-auto M2 which wasn't as loud as this monster!

Even as a joke that "Bubbad" rifle is painful to look at.
