Xavier is a Registered Nurse who specialized in complex wound care. He has practiced for over fourteen years in his community. He often provided nursing service in areas where law enforcement refused to enter without back-up. Xavier now works in surgery. Xavier has been an avid shooter for over 30 years. He strongly supports the 2nd Amendment, opposes gun control of any sort, and carries a weapon 24 hours a day. Xavier is known on various internet gun forums as XavierBreath. He is married with three children, and is moderated by an apathetic one eyed cat, a goofy Golden Retriever, and a stalwart German Shepherd Dog. One day, he hopes to be deserving of them all.

glock owners are funny people - i know one who quite likes the look of this gun ....
It is a bit of a clash of design elements, but you've had worse.

That's like having an inlaid, nielloed, ivory-gripped Makita drill.
Even without the goldwork it would qualify.
I didn't think it was possible to make a GLOCK any uglier...
I wouldn't say it's UGLY, just not as attractive as it might have been. Anyway, I would bet it's got a great personality.......-grin-

Ahh, embellishing a Glock. Kind of like reproducing "David" with legos.
Sort of like having your family crest printed with gold leaf on a set of Melmac dishes.
That's more a "tacky" gun than an ugly one. If you find gold "enhancement" ugly then look at what was done to a perfectly good Browning:

It's not really the gold highlights, it's the execution. It looks like it was rubbed on as a student's first class exercise for "Gold Leaf Techniques 101."
I think that last week's offering is a more tasteful rendition...by the way, what was that based on?

The 'beauty' of my glock is that I can bump it, scrape it, slam it, get it wet, muddy, gooey or sticky and it not only still works - but looks the 'same'. It doesn't bother me to see a nick or gouge in it's 'fine' finish.
Doing anything that makes you worry about how a glock looks take away from it's 'beauty'.
Doing something to 'enhance' the appearance of a glock simply exposes that the owner has not grasped the original concept of the tool.
For all intents and purposes my rode-hard-n-put-away-wet 2nd gen 19 is could be considered uglier.
However, that's the last thing on my mind when I put it on.
