Todd Jarrett: Shooting on the Move

  1. Very nice -- but what's with the racking the slide from in front of the ejection port? His paws get awfully close to the ouchy bits.

Word verification: pinguss -- what the steel targets are begging for.

  3. Easy for him to do :-0 We did that drill a few times at the range and it is HARD, at least a couple of people flat fell down! It does work though.

Jarrett's great, of course, but I'm thinking how it might look to LEOs or prosecutors upon learning you were running TOWARD your assailants in a defensive shoot. I think the backwards drill is much more useful. Regardless, all the exercises would probably prove useful.

  5. My response Mike, is that I run towards cover in a lethal confrontation, wherever that cover may be.

Good point, but you're missing mine; if you're running past a group of assailants shooting at you enroute to cover, well, good luck with that! Were it me, I'd be hightailing it out of there to put distance between myself and the threats.
