Smith & Wesson Box on Ebay

A Smith & Wesson No. 38 Automatic Ejector box from the 1800's. The box is in near mint condition with much of the gold leaf still present.The outside of the box is green with hardly any wear showing. The inside has a little staining due to placement of the pistol (I would assume) when the box was still in use. This auction is for the box only. There is a little wear on each top corner of the label as shown in the pictures and there is one small flake gone on the top, about the size of comma in a sentence. This is a remarkable find for the true collector. It is original and guaranteed to be as described or your money back.

Man, my dad would love to have that. He focuses on Winchester, but he's one of "those guys." He's got ammo boxes galore.
nice bunch of posts, xavier...so this is what you call cutting back on the blogging? glad you haven't (so far)...looks like ebay might have loosened their silly liberal, self-righteous and costly stance on firearms posts, apparently for dealers who will do the 4473 and fed check for personal pickup only...good first step...jtc
My Model 66 is not likely to be something I would ever trade or sell, and my box is in great shape, has all the accessories, manuals, warranty cards, including an unopened cleaning kit and oil paper.
