Given

We exchanged gifts today, both for Christmas and tomorrow's wedding. Absolutely no question about it. It was the right gift.

FWIW, he gave me 100 rounds of 45ACP...... again.

Xavier,

Merry Christmas and Congratulations to you and your daughter. Seems she learned to "Choose Wisely..." from someone; I can only surmise that it was you and her mother.

One lucky guy. Your daughter, a great gun from you, and oh yeah, a great Father-in-Law with vast knowledge to benefit from.

Tell me, when he first courted your daughter, did you ever do the "cleaning guns scenario" to tease him about treating your daughter right?

Zdog,
Yeah, you're right. I have a feeling he might have a use for 45ACP from now on......

Hopefully I won't get socks next year.......

Xav, of all the photos you’ve posted on your blog, this one I admire most. It’s not only technically superior but handily illustrates both joy and relaxed acceptance.

Looks like you’ve done a fine job of building a family.
